Who can join?
- Age 5+
- Able to swim across the pool independently (25 yards)
- Girls and boys
- Athletes with Disabilities
- Novice - Beginner and younger swimmers learning the basics of artistic swimming. This group competes in 1-2 local meets per year
- Intermediate - Swimmers who have mastered the basics of artisitic swimming. This group competes in 5-6 meets per year, mostly local (Land O'Lakes, Orlando, Ocala, sometimes South Florida)
- Junior Olympic - Swimmers who are are training to qualify and compete in the Junior Olympics (usually out of state, the week of July 4th). This group attends 6+ meets per year. Most meets are within Florida, but the National Qualifying meets (Zones) and Junior Olympics are usually out of state.
- This is a year-round sport
- Practices for the season start in August. Competitions start in December and run through June.

- This is a team sport. You are committing to attend practices and meets that are planned for your level.
- Novice - practice Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings
- Intermediate - practice Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings
- Junior Olympic - practice Tuesday/ Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings
- This is a team sport. You are committing to attend practices and meets that are planned for your level.
- Financial
- There are annual dues that can be paid in full at the beginning of the season or monthly over 11 months. Fees vary by level. There is a one month discount, if paid in full by October 1st.
- Novice - $650 annual if paid by Oct 1 or $65/month Aug - June
- Intermediate - $900 annual if paid by Oct 1 or $90/month Aug - June
- Junior Olympic - $1500 annual if paid by Oct 1 or $150/month Aug - June
- City of Tampa Rec card $15 (free teen pass for 13+)
- Annual registration team fee $160 to $210, depending on level. This includes the USA Artistic Swimming fee and some team apparel.

- Yes, artistic swimming is a varsity college sport or club sport at many colleges
- Yes, artistic swimming is an Olympic sport.
- Yes, join us the first Saturday of the month at Bobby Hicks pool at 10:00am and ask for Coach Beth (with the exception of July 5th, we will be at Junior Olympics).
- We host a few summer camps, which are a great way to try it out.
- If the 1st Saturday of the month doesn't work for you, feel free to reach out to plan a different Saturday to try it.
